In this video, we cover essential design and marketing tips for Zazzle Duvet Covers:

• Mock-ups are Crucial: The standard Zazzle product image looks flat. To compete, you must use external software to create a realistic mock-up showing the duvet cover styled on a bed, giving customers the full visual experience.

• The Pillow Warning: The duvet cover product only includes the cover. If your mock-up shows matching pillowcases (which is highly recommended!), you must create and sell those separately as individual products, and group them using a Zazzle Collection.

• Image Quality is Everything: The duvet cover is a HUGE piece of material. Your design assets (patterns, graphics, photos) must be extremely large and high-resolution (300 DPI) to avoid looking skewed, distorted, or pixelated when printed at full size.

• Avoid Fake Effects: Resist the urge to use faux glitter, foil, or complex photographic graphics. These effects will likely look terrible and distorted on such a large item, leading to customer returns and poor reviews. Stick to high-quality patterns, large-scale monograms (a historic favorite on Zazzle, first popularized by Elke!), or bold, clear graphics.

• Printable on Both Sides: Remember, the duvet cover is printable on both the front and back! You can use a full pattern on both sides, or use a pattern on the front and a solid color on the back.
