Qaqortoq, Greenland in Full HD

Описание к видео Qaqortoq, Greenland in Full HD

We have visited Qaqortoq as part of our cruise voyage from Reykjavik, Iceland to New York, USA. In about 4 hours we walked from one end to another and went up the hill even. It's a gorgeous northern town, and somewhat Dutch looking town, populated by Greenland natives. Weather is cool to say the least. Even in July, we needed jackets. The town is pretty much located on the hill, and you can go all the way up to enjoy the scenery. Multiple restaurants are serving the Greenlandic cuisine. Some of the delicacies include the seal meat. Locals are known to the masters in fur and one of the furs come from the seals. Therefore, you will see a lot of the seal fur products. However, be careful, many countries, such as USA, prohibit import of the products made of the seal fur. Nevertheless, seals have been feeding and providing the warm clothe for people in Greenland for centuries. You can also take the helicopter tours, which would take you deeper to the Greenland going north.
