Fulflej fell between the gap of shoegaze and heavy metal. After (the Un-Ones, who became Rhithm Lyd, who became) Fulflej relocated to Richmond, Virginia, they were signed to Scratchie Records, a label formed by James Iha and Darcy Wretsky, where every band sounded like the Smashing Pumpkins. The Pumpkins were like family to their Scratchie bands. They would either help each other out with production, instrumentation, vocals, you name it. Fulflej was one of those bands featured in the early Power Rangers series (Turbo), and just from hearing that, you know they'll be good. Cause they're awesome!
