Illustrator - Joined up Scallop Brush

Illustrator - Create a joined up scallop brush. When you try to make a scallop pattern brush from a curved element in Illustrator it doesn't join up to form a neat scallop. In this video you will learn how to create a bounding box for the brush shape which will ensure that the brush joins up and creates a continuous scallop loop along the selected path.

The process involved in making this brush is applicable to making a range of different brush types in Illustrator. So the skills you will learn will help you when making and troubleshooting brushes in future.
