Launch OBD2 Scanner Reveals the Secret to disabling AFM/DFM!

Today we check to see if driving in L9 disables AFM/DFM using a Launch X431 OBD2 Scanner to give us the facts. AFM/DFM was created to help save on fuel by deactivating cylinders at any given time. This system doesn't have the best track record and is causing Chevy Silverado owners to have lifter failure. There are products out there that you can buy to disable AFM/DFM, but we will see if drving in L9 will turn off AFM/DMF and bypass the this function. We will also take a look at what a Throttle Response Controller does to your accelerator pedal. I have enjoyed having the Jet Performance Xcelerator in the truck, but using the scanner, we can exactly what it does.
