Shiva Valley is the nondescript shack just next door to Curlies that turns into one of Goa’s hottest party spots every Tuesday. The parties begin at sunset with the “chai mamas” setting out their tables in preparation of feeding the hungry dancers. The venue attracts well known DJs from across the world and the dance-floor is packed soon after it opens. The parties continue till midnight, but like Curlies, some nights may go on longer. 5PM ONWARDS / Tuesday nights, & other special parties.This place is pure bliss for trance lovers! The decor and theme is simplistic but the lighting just adds spark to it. Went there on new year's eve..
Keep in mind that even if it’s not your cup of tea, it’s truly something to check out at least once. These parties are 100% part of Goa and Goans, Indians from outside Goa, and foreigners come together at them. It’s not something fake for tourism. In fact, these parties are as real as it gets! The “trance” parties are mostly Anjuna and Vagator but also in Morjim, Ashwem, and Arambol.
