ONE LAST PRAYER by Garry Manuel
Recorded on the beach in August of 2023 at The Great Sacandaga Lake, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains.

This video was taken in one of my favorite spots in the foothills of the Adirondacks. It's a place that holds such deep meaning and experiences for me on so MANY levels.

One day I sat down to practice guitar, and what often happens occurred again - the practice was derailed by an idea for a song. It came quite naturally and rather spontaneous, having a warm vibe to it. The music helped jostle many thoughts and I began to think of many people that were close to me who were experiencing some major challenges in life. So, I gave it the title of, One Last Prayer.

I played it a little free here, as I was trying to time some of the strums with some waves sloshing ashore. That didn't exactly work, but that was the intention and it just made me more aware of the beautiful surroundings as I played through the tune. ~Garry
