DELICIOUS SALMON PUFFS. HEERLIJKE ZALM BROODJES. ZALM IN BLADERDEEG

3 cans wild caught pink salmon @ 170gr (60 oz.)
1 package frozen puff pastry sheets (thawed)
½ onion
4 garlic cloves
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt
1 vegetable cube
2 hot habanero peppers (optional)
¼ cup celery
1 egg
Two baking sheets lined with parchment paper

PREPARATION:
Fry the onion, garlic, black pepper, salt, hot habanero pepper and the vegetable cube in a pan and let cool.
Beat the egg and set aside.
Add the fried ingredients and the chopped celery to the salmon and mix.
Take the puff pastry sheets out of the package and roll it out on a lightly floured surface.
Cut the sheet in half.

Place the salmon in the center, brush the edge with the egg, then fold the puff pastry over and seal with a fork.
Turn it over and cut into 4 equal pieces and place on the baking sheet.
Brush the top with the egg.
Preheat the oven on 400 F.
You can chill the puffs in the fridge while the oven is heating up.
Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 min or till golden brown.
Serve warm.
