Nerd alert!!! Here's a video of my recent find. An attic find! 12 boxes in total! Plus a Heathkit tube tester and a signal generator!

The majority of the tubes are used/pulled out from old equipment (radios/TVs). Seems to be be plenty of used (bullet proof) rectifier tubes (5y3, 5u4g, no gz34 yet...). I found 3x 5880 (used), some 6v6, 6l6, lots of used 12au7, 12at7 and a few 12ax7 (no NOS). Plenty of carbon comp resistors, (old dryed) electrolytic capacitors, some coupling caps (a few orange drops, one Philips mustard, a large container of Mica caps, one bumble bee cap!). I have lots of sorting out left ahead of me!

The lot came from an electronic tech who opened up shop in the 40's. The newspaper that some of the NOS tubes are wrapped in is dated 1980 and 1988. Not sure if he had retired prior to this or at that date. Perhaps the tube boxes had succumbed to fire or water damage. His stock went into his house/attic when he closed up shop/retired and have been there until now...
