Born in San Diego, California, Tim’s road to success has been filled with obstacles and roadblocks, but none of those held him back from reaching his goals and achieving his dreams. Tim’s belief that good things would happen as he worked hard helped him navigate the sometimes challenging road to playing in the NFL. After playing in the NFL for four years, Tim experienced an injury that sidelined him from the game. However, thanks to his sheer grit and work ethic Tim did not allow this setback to keep him from living his dream of continuing to play in the NFL. He dedicated himself to living a healthy lifestyle, and through the continued support of his family along with his faith and mental strength, Tim made it back into the game. To date, Tim has played for the Arizona Cardinals, the Washington Redskins, the New Orleans Saints, and most recently signed with the San Francisco 49ers.
When introduced to essential oils by his wife Rikki, Tim quickly realized that they would become a game changer for him and his family. With an intense training schedule and the strains that it leaves on his body, Tim recognizes the need to take care of himself and take time to rest and recover. doTERRA essential oils have played a role in that process. Specifically, Tim is a big fan of using Deep Blue® oil. He shares, “After a long game, it helps my body and my muscles re-energize to get back and ready for the next game.” Some of Tim’s other favorite products include doTERRA On Guard®, Peppermint, Lavender, doTERRA Breathe®, and Deep Blue® Rub. He believes that living a holistic life and using essential oils both help to provide continued success as a professional athlete.
When asked what drives him, Tim believes that he has been created with a purpose to use his gifts, his passions, his abilities, and his influence to be successful—but even more importantly to show others how to be successful as well. He constantly asks himself how he can learn, how he can grow and maximize his potential, and how this can impact his family, future generations, and community.
