Sandakphu (3636 m; 11,930 ft) is the highest peak in the district of Ilam, Nepal and West Bengal, India.
It is the highest point of the Singalila Ridge in Darjeeling district on the West Bengal-Nepal border.
The trek along the Singalila Ridge to Sandakphu and Phalut is one of the most popular ones in the Eastern Himalayas
due to the grand vistas of the Kangchenjunga range and the Everest range which can be seen from the ridge,
and also for the seasonal wildflower blooms and birding.

Phalut
----------

Phalut or Falut (3600 m) is the second highest peak of West Bengal, India.
Part of the Singalila Ridge in the Himalayas and it is located at the border of the Indian states of West Bengal and Sikkim and the country of Nepal.
It is located inside the Singalila National Park.
The full view of Eastern Himalayas and best view of sleeping buddha can be seen from Phalut Top.
Falutians have a 300 year history of worshipping the mountain peak, and believe that Phalut is an omniscient god.
They refer to the mountain peak as "Omna Re Ay".

Gorkhey

Gorkhey, a beautiful valley in the border of West Bengal and Sikkim.
Gorkhey is one of the least visited places in Darjeeling hills.
The valley is surrounded by thick pine forest and a small river flowing in between,known as Gorkhey Khola,
which separates the boundary between Sikkim and West Bengal.
The people of the valley is very friendly and kind and they welcome every visitors with great respect.
Gorkhey is an ideal place for those who wishes to spend some time on the lap of nature away from the hustle and bustle city life.
It is obvious for anyone to fall in love with the place at the first sight.
The serenity and the pollution free ambience of the place can easily amuse the visitors.
