5. Spiritual Omission and Neglect
Sloth is primarily a sin of omission. It is defined by what a person fails to do.

This includes:
Neglect of Duty: Skipping the essential obligations of one's state in life (e.g., a parent neglecting a child's emotional needs).
Affectlessness: A state of "numbness" where a person no longer feels empathy or the drive to contribute to the world, essentially "checking out" of their own life.
