Putwall Picking and Putting Order Fulfillment - Conveyco

Utilizing a Putwall for order fulfillment consolidation allows organizations to benefit from multiple zones of picking. Each picking zone utilizes the best technologies and processes to pick the SKUs for each order. Once all the SKUs in that zone are picked, the order is then routed to the back of a putwall where an operator is directed by put-lights, LEDs or voice to place each item in the designated cubbie, cell or tote. When the last item for an order is placed in the cubbie, the system then activates the lights on the front (other side) of the putwall for the other operator to pick the completed order. The order is then packed or sent to packing and then shipping. The process is repeated continually until all orders are competed.
