Описание к видео Team Halmstad won gold in the Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge, GCDC 2016.

In May 2016 a team of students from Halmstad University competed in the Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge, GCDC 2016. It was part of the European i-GAME project in which the next steps are being taken in developing self driving cars that communicate with each other (C-ITS, cooperative intelligent transport systems).

The competitors needed to solve two challenges merging two rows of dense traffic and crossing at a busy T-junction. Head to head with nine other qualified international teams team Halmstad put their skills and teamwork to the test.

In the previous competition, GCDC 2011, Halmstad University won silver. Would they live up to expectations?
