Our Story
Sabik Offshore entered the world in 2000 and quickly started making a name for itself in the DACH region for reliable marine aids to navigation. With its systems background, innovative approach and attention to quality, Sabik Offshore was well positioned in 2009 to enter the emerging German offshore wind industry.


The company continued to work on further offshore wind farms and felt that this industry needed a simpler approach to marking the turbines. There had to be a better way than constantly re-engineering the wheel for each project. The company then developed the Original NAi product range, the first aids to navigation product line made specifically for offshore wind. The products were not only made to handle the harsh offshore environment but were easy to install and commission, reducing the lifetime cost of the system.


While at first focusing on its home market of Germany, the Sabik Offshore reputation continued to grow. Offshore wind became the company’s core competence and eventually the company began to expand into on other projects in northern Europe. By 2015 over 3/4 of the company’s business was offshore wind and was purchased by Carmanah Technologies based in Victoria, Canada.


In 2019 Sabik Offshore acquired BTI Dialight in Copenhagen, Denmark and strengthened its position as market leader in this niche.


Currently Sabik Products are on over 2500 turbines in over 45+ projects worldwide. As the offshore wind industry continues to expand, the leader in marking offshore wind farms continues to grow with its customers, exploring new business opportunities in Asia and the Americas as well as developing markets within Europe.
