Everyone knows pho and banh mi, but this is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes and not many people are familiar with it. It's my comfort food and reminds me of home. The caramelized pork is eaten with jasmine rice to cut the intense sweet, salty flavor. This dish is so easy to make and takes no time at all!

RECIPE:

1 pound pork spare ribs, cut into 1-1.5 inch pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons oyster sauce
3-4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 Tablespoons oil
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon fish sauce (optional - add salt if not using fish sauce)
1 cup coconut juice
black pepper
