Laura Harrier has publicly addressed rumors linking her romantically to actor Shameik Moore, calling out his actions as “weird.” The speculation began after Moore, who voices Miles Morales in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, shared an old video of the two on X, captioned “coming soon.”

Harrier, known for her role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, responded through a now-deleted TikTok video, expressing frustration with the rumors. “I keep seeing all these videos tagging me with another actor, and people speculating. It’s really annoying because I’m literally engaged,” she said, referencing her fiancé, creative consultant Sam Jarou.

She explained the video Moore posted was taken over a year ago at a party where they were asked to pose together. Harrier expressed confusion about why Moore chose to share it now, adding that she had asked him to remove it. “I told him I didn’t like the insinuation that something was going on between us,” she said.

Harrier’s frustration escalated when the video remained online. “It’s still up, which is f—ing weird. You’re a f—ing weirdo. I’m f—ing annoyed,” she said candidly.

Moore later deleted the post and issued an apology via a video on X, calling the situation a “misunderstanding.” He clarified that the video was meant to align with the aesthetic of a song and not imply a relationship. “It’s about art for me, not insinuating anything,” he explained, apologizing for any confusion caused.

The incident has sparked widespread conversation online, with fans debating the appropriateness of Moore’s actions and Harrier’s response. This highlights the potential pitfalls of social media missteps in the public eye and the need for clarity when sharing personal content.
