This road trip is a non GPS journey. Let's see if we get lost. Take a drive with me from East Tucson to Mescal near Benson on a windy day under a beautiful Arizona sky. We'll check out some nostalgic signage by an old quonset hut barn, now the location for a farmers market in the Rincon Valley. Next we'll drive along Interstate 10 to Mescal where where we'll drive through some BLM land and explore the free camping possibilities and from there we can see the Mescal Movie Set where "Quick & the Dead" and "Tombstone" were filmed. Then we'll explore an old 40 foot long water tank not in use and some ruins of a home along the train tracks.
