The unique curves of the Museum of Tomorrow | Olympic City

Описание к видео The unique curves of the Museum of Tomorrow | Olympic City

Space that will propose discussions on the future of humanity, the Museum of Tomorrow already shows its first columns of the underground works. And it is precisely there where lies the main - and complex - design feature in the project of the Spaniard architect Santiago Calatrava: all of its structures are curved, which demanded from engineers and architects working in construction, solutions rarely used in other works.

The main one is the use of curved forms designed exclusively for the Museum of Tomorrow and built with wood imported from Germany. The challenge, however, does not stop there. Not one curve in the museum is equal to another, which means that most of the forms is also different from each other, making the whole design even more complex.
