CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Cincinnati Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened in Carthage early Sunday morning, according to Cincinnati police dispatch.

Officers at the scene say they were called to the scene at 69th and Vine Streets around 1:30 a.m. for the report of a shooting.

Lt. Cunningham with the Cincinnati Police Department says that two people were shot.

One of them is an 18-year-old in critical condition, and the other is a 23-year-old with unknown injuries, according to Lt. Cunningham.A police source confirmed with FOX19 NOW that a third person was shot, but the details of the third victim are currently unknown.

The cause of the shooting is still under investigation.

Police have not identified anyone at this time, nor have they said if they arrested anyone.
