This webinar is co-hosted by TB-PPM Learning Network, India (TBPPM-LN) and IAPSM. TBPPM-LN is an offshoot of the global TB-PPM Learning network and was established to strengthen the community of PPM practitioners and implementers in India. The IASPM is a national-level professional body in the field of Community Medicine/Public health in India and an important stakeholder of the NTEP. Both organizations share the vision of offering technical support for the TB-PPM agenda in the country and will now join hands to support NTEP’s efforts around this agenda.
With this background, a webinar was organized to introduce TB PPM – LN and the associated collaborative opportunities with IAPSM. Through presentations and discussions in this webinar, the following questions were discussed:
Why is private sector engagement essential in India’s TB program?
What are key elements of PPM and the Guidance document on Partnerships?
What are some good examples of PPSA implementation?
