22.1 Naming Amines | Organic Chemistry

Chad provides a succinct lesson on how to name amines. This includes both the common names for simple amines as well as the IUPAC systematic names. First, the classification of amines as primary, secondary, and tertiary is briefly explained before common examples of amines are named including N-substituted amines. The lesson is concluded with the naming of an amine as a substituent when it is not the highest priority functional group in the compound.
