Rhode Island's Federal Home Energy Rebate Program Launch

Описание к видео Rhode Island's Federal Home Energy Rebate Program Launch

On September 17, 2024, the state of Rhode Island launched its first federal Home Energy Rebates program, supported by the Inflation Reduction Act. The Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) portion of the rebate program that Rhode Island launched today will enable low-income (and eventually, middle-income) households to save on energy-efficiency improvements.

When you upgrade your home to be more energy efficient, that means it will need less energy to heat, cool, and power your home. And using less energy means reducing your monthly energy bill. Plus, lowering your energy usage shrinks your carbon footprint. That’s a win for your wallet and the planet. 🌎

Rhode Islanders can save up to:
• $4,000 for electrical panel
• $2,500 for electrical wiring.
• $840 for an electric save, cooktop, rage, or oven – and/or an ENERGY STAR-certified heat pump clothes dryer.
