How to EverQuest Necromancer - Soloing CoV Trash Raid Mobs for RKIII Spells?

This video shows that a 115 necromancer that is done with Claws of Veeshan can kill raid mobs with a big Jober and a quick burn.

All my videos are one take, so there is some rambling. Lots of rambling. Boys, I had an idea and I took a run at it. Another way to show a part of the game a necromancer can do solo. I'd really like to get some RKIII spells. So I loaded up all my box toons that hardly ever see the light of day and told Seiri to take a break.

The good news is that I can drop the CoV Raid trash mobs. But I don't know if they will ever drop a RKIII gem? Do they only drop from the chests after the raid is over?
