HOW TO CONNECT SALUS KL08RF Underfloor Heating Wiring Centre (OFFLINE MODE) #SalusSmartHome #SmartHome #Salus    • Salus Controls

Mee name's Allen Hart and in today's video I'm going to show you how to connect your Salus KL08RF underfloor heating wiring centre. This is part of the Salus smart home range. The KL08RF is an 8 to 12 zone wireless wiring centre and this can be used as part of the Salus smart home network. We have done a video before on how to set this up and I will add a link in the description below. In today's video we're going to show you how to set up in an offline mode. Maybe you don't have the internet yet or maybe you're not going to set up a smart home network and you just want to use it standalone with just a controller. To start power up the device with a 2.30 volt power supply. The device can now be put into pairing mode. You can do this by pressing a small screwdriver or paper clip into the reset hole to ensure the wiring centre is refreshed. The network status light should be flashing green. Now press and hold the button on the coordinator for around three to four seconds until the light flashes red. This is now in pairing mode. Power up your SQ610RF by holding down the tick button until the screen lights up. The screen will display the language. Use the up and down keys to select the required language and then press the tick button. It will then display connect to network. Press the tick button. Your stack should now display the system type under floor. Press the tick button to confirm. It will then ask you the control box number. This is the wiring centre number. To find this out press the small grey pair button in the middle of the wiring centre. The actuator light will now show green. If zone one lights up this is wiring centre one. If zones one and two light up then this is wiring centre two and so on. You can have multiple wiring centres run from one coordinator. Enter the control box number into your stack and press the tick button. It will now ask you which zone you would like to select. Add the zone number and press tick. It will advise you that it is paired successfully and if you would like to add an additional zone. You can do this or simply finish the stats set up by pressing the tick button. Once you have added all the stats then simply hold the coordinator button in again for three to four seconds to complete the setup. That wraps up today's video. I hope you found it useful.
