Stage 0, fixed character and artifact growth, so level and equipment won't matter, since that mode will scale when playing stage 0. Use any whip and Mandala for stage 0. Mandala has an ability to poison most bosses. This ability isn't considered a passive skill, since the passives come from the monster cores and not the weapon itself. A lot of gameplay issues with this game. When you break bosses in this game, there not suppose to retaliate, but some do, such as Sword Oni, Fallen Elf, Snow Girl, etc. You can still stand close to them, but just use a weapon with range, like the whip, and you're good to go. Also, had issues with inputs not registering correctly. Sometimes weapon doesn't come out when pressed, and i had issues with my character dashing backwards when I was holding forward on my gamepad. there's a wind ability that you get around mid game and you have the option of turning it on or off. Apparently, when you turn it off and turn it back on, you can use the wings anymore. For artifacts, try to use ones that cost the least so you can use it more times.

Setup used: any whip and Mandala to put poison on most bosses.
