A Series of Skies

Today, we are painting skies! For this demonstration, we built a special Pocket Palette (paints listed below), filled with watercolors for painting skies and inspired by artist Brooke Morales’ palette that she made for her 365 Skies project in 2023. Paint along as Art Toolkit founder Maria Coryell-Martin demonstrates how to capture clear skies, sunset skies, and moody skies with watercolor.

Clear Skies: Capture the range from warm to cool blues to bring depth to your clear skies
Sunset Skies: Sunrises and sunsets are perfect for exploring bright and vibrant colors.
Moody Skies: Moody skies are all about playing with your greys.
