Proraso Shaving Cream Soap | The Daily Shave

Hey guys! Ross here, back for another Daily Shave! Today’s shave featured Proraso - White. This green tea and oatmeal scented classic is advertised to those with sensitive skin, whether it be sensitivity to certain ingredients in other soaps or sensitive to certain fragrance notes. In terms of scent, this is quite pleasant, unassuming, and very neutral. Strength is around a 4 and it’s enough to let you know its there but not overwhelm.

In terms of performance, there’s a reason Proraso has been lauded and enjoyed for over 100 years. The brand holds its value more than enough and provides an easy lather, adequate cushion and slickness, as well as provides a soothing and moisturizing post-shave feel. The packaging may not be eye-popping, but if you’re looking for a soap that hits all of the metrics and comes at a bargain price, you can’t go wrong with Proraso. Given it’s price point and reliability, I’d highly recommend this soap for beginners and anyone new to the hobby of wet shaving. You surely won’t be disappointed!
