This works for the majority of the fur that your pets will release into your pool when they go swimming this is a cheap effective way to keep your filter system from getting clogged. We used a hanging door screen in the cross stitch ring also note we used a plastic one instead of a wooden ring. Make sure to measure the circumference of the skimmer opening to get the right size ring. You want the ring to sit on top of the skimmer opening, not the basket itself.
