YAMAHA MT4X | TEAR DOWN

Описание к видео YAMAHA MT4X | TEAR DOWN

Here is my video tearing down a Yamamha MT4X intended as reference for anyone attempting their own repairs of this model.

Though I have a lot of experience fixing portastudios and the like, in this footage it is my first time completely dissassembling this model, so bear in mind there may be some inefficiencies in the way I dissassemble things.

I comment as I go along on roughly which parts do what, and the sort of things that might go wrong, based on my experiences repairing hundreds of multitrack cassette recorders.

Please use the chapters embedded in the video scroll bar and corrsponding timestamps at the bottom of this description to get a sense of what is covered, and/or jump to the section you need.

I refer to several other videos I ahve made, links to those are below;-

SPIN WELDING
Demonstrated on a Tascam 414. The sort of thing you might consider if you had broken mounting posts, door hinges or the like.
