Arianna and Maple return to the Bluth household for a double-dose of chaos and comedy. In “The One Where Michael Leaves,” Michael attempts to escape the family drama by fleeing to Phoenix with his son George Michael—but the family’s apathy hurts more than anything. Oscar gets mistakenly arrested, Tobias auditions for a misguided support group idea, Lindsay pushes an open marriage, and Lucille exploits Buster into the Army—all while G.O.B. ascends suspiciously to company president.

Next, “The One Where They Build a House” finds Michael trying to regain control by unveiling a new model home project—but G.O.B. promises to deliver a completed house in two weeks, opting for a hollow shell while everyone helps him fake it. Meanwhile, Buster is horrified by Lucille and Oscar’s affair and volunteers for the Army, Lindsay is duped by a homeless “date,” and George Sr. lands in hot water in Mexico again.
