Why Is the Body-Chariot Considered Divine?

Описание к видео Why Is the Body-Chariot Considered Divine?

Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji, while describing the chariot of Arjuna in the Gita makes the analogy from the Upanishads that every human body is considered to be a chariot. In fact the chariot of Arjuna in the Gita is described as a "great chariot". It was originally the chariot of the Varuna (God of water) and was gifted to Arjuna by the Agni (God of fire). In this video vignette Paramahamsaji shares the metaphorical meaning of why the chariot is considered great and the significance of the references to the Varuna and Agni. This vignette is taken from Prajnananandaji's discourses on the Bhagavad Gita delivered to his students at the Hariharananda Gurukulam at Balighai, near Puri, in India.
