Fu xi was so wise, and he created the diagrams carefully after he understood the secret of the universe. So we call the first stroke of 8 diagrams as the stroke of everlasting (一画开天). I’Ching was talking about the secrets of the universe since the Big Bang.

Back to the ancient time, there is no scientific equipment for Fu Xi to do some experiments, so Fu xi used three methods to discover the secret of the universe:
To look up: to look up what above him, things in the sky and things in the universe.
To look down: to look down what’s inside of ourselves
To look thoroughly (wide-angle): everything is connected with each other.

Fu Xi knew the whole universe was created through hieroglyphics and numbers. Thinking in this way: 0 and 1 create the virtual world through the internet; while 1 and 2 create the real world through the rules of the universe. And 1 is Yang, 2 is Yin, they create everything in the universe. Which is the same thing to me. Yin and Yang are not two separate things, we will discuss what is Yin and Yang in the following episode.

I’Ching was created through the rule of nature, or we could also say I;Ching created itself through nature, Fu Xi was the one who discovered this and passed this secret to us. I’Ching always laying there, if you ignored it, it will ignore you; if you want to talk to it, it will respond you. But by how much you can get from it, that will all depend on you, it can’t help. This is the real nature.
