In this video, I take you through a challenging and frustrating evening of sheep gathering that went completely wrong. As I set out to round up the flock, I quickly found myself battling terrible weather, rising rivers, and bad luck at every turn. Things went from bad to worse when I lost sight of my dog, and to top it off, I accidentally injured a lamb. Stubbornly, I tried to push through on my own, despite the worsening conditions, and paid the price for it.

The next day, with more hands on deck and better weather, we headed back to finish the job. The difference was night and day—what was a nightmare solo turned into a smooth and successful operation with help. It was a tough lesson learned: sometimes, it’s better to wait for the right conditions and get the support you need rather than push through on your own.
