Just a tutorial video on how I change the oil on my wife's 2012 Hyundai Elantra. This video can be useful for anyone trying to change their own oil on their vehicle (not just a Hyundai Elantra). Make sure you have a jack that can fit under the low profile of the Hyundai Elantra.

Tools needed:

- Oil (number of quarts and type is different for each vehicle - 2012 Hyundai Elantra takes 5W-20 4.25 quarts)
- Oil Filter (look up your model's filter when buying it at the store)
- Wrench (to take off oil drain plug - Hyundai Elantra takes 17mm)
-Oil Filter Wrench (if you can't get the oil filter off by hand)
- Rags
- Gloves
- Safety Glasses
- Oil Pan (to catch oil coming out of vehicle)
- Jack stands
- Jack
