Demo of the Jupiter-8 Collection for the SonicProjects OP-X PRO-II software VSTi synth. All heard sounds are coming from OP-X PRO-II.

To allow a direct comparison to the real Jupiter-8 the same or similar licks and chords were played as featured in the original Jupiter-8 factory preset clips available on synthmania:

The Jupiter-8 Collection includes three banks:

the factory patches (64)
custom user sounds (64)
both consolidated in one bank (128)

The custom user sounds are new and edited sounds derived from the factory patches. So also those have the typical Jupiter-8 feel to them.

The original factory patches have been re-programmed in every tiny detail (if possible) using the original factory patch sheets as well as various youtube videos and the excellent and complete patch-per-patch audio examples on synthmania:

Some of the patches couldn't be properly re-programmed because of some missing Jupiter-8 exclusive features like oscillator 1 lo-frequency option and envelope 1 or 2 choice for the filter. In those cases the patches were replaced by an alternative similar sounding one. Concerned are mainly some of the effect sounds.
