Developing a version of the Northwind Developer Edition template for PowerApps led me down a path that suggests it's possible to reuse Stored Procedures across multiple development environments, including Access, PowerApps, and .net applications.

PowerApps can now consume SQL Server Stored Procedures directly, without using Power Automate. That puts the full processing power and data logic operations of SQL Server at your disposal. Pursuing this idea then led to an approach that avoids the Copy/Paste drama required for regular PowerApps coding. If you want to reuse a data update operation, you only need to invoke one Stored Procedure.

During the after-presentation, meeting attendees offered their own insights on how to make this approach work more efficiently. To do so, though, requires multiple skills: Access/VBA, SQL Server and PowerApps interface design. It's hard to know whether one person can wear all those hats, or whether a small team approach is required. Let me know in the comments what you think.
