Joel is one of the short books in the Bible. The author Joel is a prophet, the son of Pethuel. Very little is known about Joel’ life circumstances. The meaning of the name Joel is ‘The Lord is God’.
In chapter 2, God is waiting for someone to stand up for the nation before him. God asked the Israelites to humble themselves, repent, fast, turn and cry out to God.

It is not about how long you pray. Its about who is praying.

A prayer for the Nation!
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
