Martina Navratilova and Betty Stove face Renee Richards and Betty Ann Grubb Stuart in the US Open 1977 women's doubles final.

No. 1 seeds Navratilova/Stove head into the match as the clear favourites. Navratilova is seeking her first US Open doubles title while Stove aims for her second title, having won the tournament in 1972. In the same year, Stove also won the women's title at Roland-Garros and Wimbledon but she's yet to win a Grand Slam tournament since then.
