Govt. of the Punjab appointed Educators in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2009 Years on Contract Basis. With the efforts of PEA Punjab and special interest of Chief Justice of Pakistan Punjab Government Regularized them on 19-10-2009 But the Basic Pays of all Educators (Year 2000 to 2006) were brought back to their initial stages of their respective categories and all Annual Increments already Earned were converted to Personal Allowance (P.A) and all Adhoc Allowances entitled in 2005 and 2006 were abolished and all other Adhoc Allowances 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 are not being entitled according to their protected Basic Pay. Punjab Educators Association Punjab filed writ petition 6560 and 26930 in High court Lahore for this purpose. The worthy High Court has referred the above said cases to Govt of Punjab for negotiation with PEA. The dialogues have been almost completed and PEA is hopeful to be give pay protection. If we are given pay protection, then the Personal Allowance will be merged to Basic Pay and all Adhoc Allowances will be fixed accordingly. Atleast 3,000 to 6,000 will be added to the pay of these educators.
