Mining companies are increasingly using seismic data to image hard rock environments containing prospective mineral deposits. A seismic dataset samples the earth with more detail than any other geophysical dataset. The level of detail within a seismic volume provides insight into known mineralization and reveals the big picture geology associated with the mineral system.

It was great hearing from Kevin Jarvis from HiSeis as he introduced the seismic method and showed us how it has the potential to revolutionize the mining industry.
