Two Venomous Australia Snake Rescues! 🐍⚡️🫣

1. Legends here is a highly venomous lowland copper head that unfortunately got its head stuck in a lemonade can, I have seen this happen a few times now since becoming a snake 🐍 catcher, the snakes. Don’t actually care what liquid is inside they go in for a look in the hope of finding a frog 🐸, lizard 🦎 or a mouse 🐭 seeking refuge and then their scales hook over the thin lip and they become stuck and then can only push further and further into the can. This would be a really cruel way to die, this snake was left for a long period next to a park bench because of the local fear people have towards these critters fortunately for me my next door neighbour Shannon is a veteran snake 🐍 handler and brought it over for me and gave me a hand to extract the little guy especially after my big weekend at the Deni Ute muster I was already feeling a bit slower than usual 😂. The snake made a full recovery ❤️‍🩹 and sent it back to the bush a few days later.. remember rubbish belongs in the bin legends . thanks Shannon for the hand ONYA! #snake #wildlifewarrior #wildlife #onya

Two red belly black snakes 🐍 !!NOT!! mating as I originally thought but I believe now to be two males fighting over a near bye female, the reason I thought it was mating is because when mating the ritual looks very similar except apparently not as much fast and aggressive twisting and more pinning and pushing from what i understand, if anyone can add what they believe in the comments would be awesome, still so much to learn about these magical critters, this is the first time I have seen this up close and the display was absolutely epic and the snakes had completely disregarded my presence during the act which made it easy to catch the buggers 😂🐍🕺🏻, such beautiful and healthy specimens. One snake had two bush ticks on it which is another first for me with snakes in my area, but we got them off no problems ❤️ normally I see red bellied blacks with worms 🪱 but never ticks down here. I did not win any brownie points when one took off in the direction of @amberlouise.m as I released it, she was not impressed 😂, the red belly black is dangerously ⚠️ venomous so it was probably warranted 😂. In my interactions with the species they are super well natured in my eyes and are very reluctant to commit to conflict. This species is definitely my favourite in my area, they are also very at home in and around the water. These two fellas were to close to a family’s home for their liking and although unlikely to kill a human even though they have the potential, are still highly likely to kill a pet dog 🐕 or cat especially with the pets initiating the conflict and the snake defending itself the only way it knows how. Was a bit tricky handling 2 at once they use one another as “snakes and ladders” 😂 but all is well that ends well.. ONYA! ❤️🐍🐍❤️
