July 4, 1975-The Big Showdown (Last Show-Audio)

-Audio recording of the last episode of the game show "The Big Showdown" which aired on ABC from December 1974 to July 1975. The only video that is known to exist of this underrated gem is the pilot (called "Showdown"), a March 1975 episode that shows host Jim Peck slipping on the stairs as he makes his entrance, and a bonus round clip from another episode.

-Even though the video is lost, the audio reveals a very exciting game and a great, classy send-off by Jim at the finish. The previous Friday three other ABC game shows had aired their last episode ("Blankety Blanks", "Password" and "Split Second") and this same day "The Money Maze" also aired its final show.
