How to 'old' ambient #4 'LIVE' Berlin Sch / Jarre / Floyd / Glass style Talk then Perf ASK QUESTIONS

Happy to answer live questions today about this style of ambient (old school musically & technique and tech) as I will have my mic on for the first part.... and OK the performance has quite a few 'non ambient' moments in it, but I couldn't help myself :)

An adventure into a range of old school ambient style and techniques, you know, Oxygene start or Equinoxe close, slow Tangerine Dream like Tangram or earlier Zeit type pieces, soft sequences, dreamy or dark and cinematic. Elements of early Floyd & Glass (Koyan). Using my Berlin School rack big use of filtered, phasing Solina, polyrhythmic sequencing on ModelD and Taiga, melodic elements on Brains/Plaits and alien-like percussion samples and ghostly solos on West Pest.

Might use some of my new improved Etherwave mk1 (original Bob Moog version) Theremin with added bass with the ESPE01 module or the two Doepfer ones integrated into the rack, for that Jarre vibrato solo feel. (or not) :)

I intend to do this like my current weekend modular series (1-3) of live talking as I patch, but as this is mostly already patched it will be more about style, genre and technique it will be less patching and more about the actual music techniques!
