The main difference between Roomba 655 and Roomba 650 is the brushes they contain.

Roomba 655 comes with two brushes; a flat brush and a round brush while Roomba 650 comes with just one brush; a flat brush. The flat brush is used to sweep floors while a round brush assists with picking up debris. Therefore, Roomba 655 has a better cleaning performance because it picks up even the smallest dirt particles on the surface with the use of a round brush.

Similarities
Both Roomba 650 and 655 allow you to pre-program the cleaning schedule; hence you only need to set their cleaning time once. Also, they both have dirt detectors that enable them to know the sectors of the room to clean.
