Edmonds Coho Derby 9/7/2024

Fishing the Edmonds Coho Deby 2024! We had a good time in area 8-2 and 9 hunting for a big Coho. We didn't manage to get into a big one, but we had a great time landing and releasing quite a few beautiful fish.

We were landing fish pretty much all throughout the 30'-100' OTW range. The most successful hardware was the 11" pro-troll green hornet blinky with a blue-spattered ace high fly. 36" leader.

I haven't been able to get out as much as I want this year due to some schedule conflicts. The days I have had free have, of course, been bad weather. Can't lie, that's been bumming me out. However, that's life. Just gives you a greater appreciation for those times when you are able to get out on a regular basis.

We are planning to get out for the Everett Coho derby in a little over a week. Really looking forward to that!
