Marilyn and Donovan Folden of Pelican Rapids describe their yard as an “American Hodgepodge.” The dictionary says hodgepodge is a confused mixture. Mary Holm visits with Marilyn and Donovan and quickly discovers the only confusing aspect of their space is where to look first to enjoy the stunning beauty of this yard they have created from what was a CRP (Conservation Reserve Program) field only a few years ago.
