Agreement signed by the Wage Revision Committee.

Wage Revision Committee meeting is held today the 08-10-2025 and signed the agreement. All members of BSNLEU and NFTE participated. The following are the details of the agreement:-

1) Pay scales are as per the list attached.
2) Fitment will be at par with the fitment to be given to the Executives.
3) Pay loss to any employee will be compensated by giving personal pay, to be absorbed in future increments.
4) Revision of perks and allowances will be decided by the BSNL Board and will be implemented from the date of signing of the Wage Revision Agreement. ( A committee is already constituted by the Management for the revision of allowances)
5) HRA revision will be decided by the BSNL Board.
6) Anomalies and aberrations will be addressed suitably.
7) The pay scales implemented in this Wage Revision will not form the basis for revision of pay scales in the next Wage Revision.

A 3rd PRC (Pay Revision Committee) wage agreement was signed on October 8, 2025, by BSNLEU and NFTE despite BSNL's loss-making status. The agreement includes a proposed wage revision to be submitted to the DoT, which still requires Union Cabinet approval for the affordability clause relaxation.
Agreement Status: The wage agreement was signed on Oct 8, 2025, aimed at addressing the long-pending pay revision.
Next Steps: Following the agreement, the proposal moves to the BSNL Board of Directors and then to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for final approval, requiring relaxation of the affordability clause.
Progress: As of December 2025, the CMD informed unions that the DoT Secretary is aware of the proposal, marking a positive step, and in early 2026, discussions on implementation continued.

Wage negotiation signed
For fitment, it has been principally agreed by Committee of wage negotiation of non executives members that whatever fitment formula will be approved for Executive applicable and acceptable to Unions.

It is one step forward.
Now BSNL have to send proposal to DOT in next step And In Final Step is DOT has to prepare Cabinet note to for both executives & non executives and put up in Cabinet for relaxing affordability clause
