The Tropicana Hotel and Casino opened its doors on April 4, 1957 and almost made it to 67 years old. Filled with lots of story and rich history in those 66 years. On April 2, 2024 just two days before its anniversary of opening its doors, it closes its doors forever. The Tropicana will be imploded in the near future to make room for a new resort and ballpark. Where the Oakland A’s are going to end up calling their new baseball home. Baseball fans lets set that aside for a moment and lets reminisce and talk about the Tropicana’s Hotel and Casino history. For one last time.
