Artifact Episode #2903
A Lazy Day, Deep Questions & a Journey Through History
Date: October 22, 2023 | Time: 10:18 PM
Hey everyone! Welcome to another Artifact Episode—this is #2903, and it’s been one of those slower, thoughtful days. Not much action, but plenty of reflection. So let’s dive into what happened, why I didn’t record gameplay today, and some questions that really made me think.

Today’s Recap: Slow Sunday, No Screens
Let’s be real—today was a chill one. I meant to record a gameplay video for my next car simulator project, but I just couldn’t do it. Why? Because I was absolutely drained.
The day started off with a visit to Amboda, a religious spot, with my mom. We got back around 3:30 PM, and after that… I just didn’t have the energy to sit in front of the computer. Recording gameplay isn’t something I can just push through. It’s not like hitting “record” and zoning out—my best content comes when I’m alert, present, and performing well in real time. That wasn’t going to happen today. I barely ate, my workout left me tired, and my body was saying, “Not today, buddy.” So I listened. Tomorrow’s another chance.

Q&A Time: Strange Habits, Planets & Pens
Now let’s get into some questions—these really sparked some fun thoughts and a few deep dives.

1. What does your family think is normal that others might find weird?
Honestly? We’re a pretty standard Indian household. Nothing comes to mind that would make outsiders go, “Whoa, that’s different.” Maybe it's just that what feels “weird” often depends on what you're used to.

2. How many pillows do you need to sleep?
One. That’s it. One good pillow under my head and I’m good. If I have more than one, they’ll probably end up all over the place by morning anyway.

3. Should Pluto still be considered a planet?
Nope—and here's why.
Back in 2006, the International Astronomical Union reclassified Pluto as a dwarf planet. It checks two out of three boxes for being a full-fledged planet:
Orbits the sun

Is round

But... hasn’t cleared its orbital neighborhood

Basically, Pluto shares its orbit with a bunch of icy objects in the Kuiper Belt, and that breaks the third rule. Fun fact: Pluto is smaller than Australia! So while a lot of people feel nostalgic about “the ninth planet,” the science makes sense.

4. Would you ever run for president or prime minister?
Not right now. That level of responsibility is huge, and I don’t think I’m ready for it. I have other dreams and projects I’m passionate about. Could I consider it in the future? Maybe. But today? Nope.

5. What’s your favorite pen color and style?
Blue ink all the way.
Back in school, I loved gel pens—they made my handwriting pop! But they didn’t last long and were kind of expensive. These days, I’ll use whatever pen is lying around, but if I get to choose, I’m grabbing a blue one.

6. If you could live in any historical era, which would you choose?
Two eras fascinate me—and for very different reasons.
First, I’d want to witness the Holocaust period (1941–1945)—not because it was inspiring, but because I want to understand that level of human suffering. Millions of Jews and others were killed in horrific ways. Seeing it firsthand (as painful as that would be) would give me a deeper sense of empathy and perspective that history books can’t quite deliver.
Second, I’d love to visit the Renaissance, specifically the time of Leonardo da Vinci. That guy was a genius—way ahead of his time. He sketched ideas for helicopters, dissected bodies for anatomy research, and even wrote in mirror script! Meeting him in Florence would be a dream. His art is iconic, sure, but it’s his curiosity and mind that blow me away.

Final Thoughts: Recharge Mode On
That’s a wrap for Episode 2903. This one ran about 42 minutes, and it felt good to just talk, reflect, and explore some big questions. I didn’t get to gameplay today, but rest was what I really needed. Tomorrow’s a new day, and I’ll come back stronger.
Thanks for tuning in—I’ll catch you in the next episode!
